In spite of all the challenges, I am grateful that this year 2023 is gradually coming to an end. Let’s drop the annoying bank business – on to happier topics – like the office party I threw for my staff, Risikatu and Musa to mark the end of the year. Lami had joined us to organise things. Of course they went out of their way to get my best friends on the party list.

Altine was there briefly, courtesy of Zoom. She is still enjoying Qatar. Oh and look what the cat’s dragged in! (Joking!!) Nasiru! I was pleased to see him and Kabiru.

And now, let the party begin. We had a catering service come over, believe me the small office space was filled up to the brim. Lots of laughter and fun. A grand way to sail through the few remaining days of 2023!
