Eno Replaces 2 LG Chairmen Who Left For State Assembly

Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno will swear in two local government chairmen as replacement for those who voluntarily quit to contest for the House of Assembly seats in the last general election.

They are Hon Oyosoro Okon Oyosoro, for Urue Ofong/Oruko local government area and his counterpart,

Deaconess Otobong Sunny Aaron of Nsit Ibom council respectively.

The chief press secretary (CPS) to the governor, Mr Ekerete Udoh, said the two chairmen, who until recently, were vice chairmen, are to be sworn in by the governor, to replace their respective council chairmen, who are now members of the state House of Assembly.

Also, to be sworn in are Mrs Arit Sunday as vice chairman of Urue Offong/Oruko, and Mr Mbosowo Charles David, as the new vice chairman for Nsit Ibom council.
