Ensure Trade Fair Success, Abia Govt Tells Committtee

Abia State government has urged the organising committee of the 2026 Aba International Trade Fair to ensure the success of the event in line with the trend of development in the state.

The deputy governor, Ikechukwu Emetu, gave the charge yesterday, while inaugurating the committee in Umuahia, the state capital, assuring the committee of the government’s maximum support.

Emetu, who is also the chairman of the committee, noted that the event, which is the third aims at engaging businesses, companies, individuals, and government agencies

He explained, “The Minister of Trade and Commerce has continued to engage relevant international partners to enhance the scope of visibility and economic value of the event.

“The Beijing Tower International Exhibition and Trade Promotion Company Limited China has formally indicated interest to partner the government to host a photoelectric exposition concurrently with the fair.
