The suspect allegedly used hot knife and electric iron to severe different parts of the little girl’s body, including her vagina.

The action has continued to generate reactions and condemnation from various quarters, after the photographs went viral on social media.

Perturbed by the development, the women commenced a protest at about 8am at the Micheal Okpara Square, Enugu.

The founder/president, Umuada Awgu Progressive Association and Umuada Awgu Global, Ambassador Chinemerem Anyi, who led the exercise, said they were heartbroken over the barbaric act meted against their little daughter by her madam, Adachukwu.

She said they decided to stage the protest so as to use it to register their displeasure over the inability of the police in Anambra State to arrest the perpetrator of the heinous crime after over one week she committed the barbaric act.

Ambassador Anyi, who described the act as barbaric and the perpetrator as a “wild beast and animal”, vowed that the group will not rest on its oars until justice is served in the matter, adding that they are going to fight it with every available legal means and last drop of their blood.
