The Niger Delta Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) Phase 2 leaders and beneficiaries have frowned at the recent publication made by one Passman Akpos, against the PAP Administrator, Dr. Dennis Otuaro.

In a statement signed by the national chairman of the Phase 2 Amnesty Programme, Ibena Rufus Salvation yesterday, he demanded that Passman and his sponsors should retract the publication and tender an unreserved apology for trying to distract Otuaro whose aims and objectives are genuine.

Describing the publication as frivolous and unnecessary, Ibena advised well-meaning leaders and delegates to be patient with the administrator to practically consolidate on his agenda for the Niger Delta.

He commented the beneficiaries for their sustained synergy and collaboration and assured that in no distance time, all lingering BVN issues would be addressed.

The national chairman noted that the BVN issue started long before Otuaro assumed office, adding that there was need for patience “as these issues of BVN were generated by the beneficiaries and not the past administrators”, he stated.
