Ex-Imo Deputy Governor Urges Positive Mindset

A former deputy governor of Lmo State, Prince Eze Madumere, has asked Nigerians to keep hope alive, reflect on a better tomorrow, and contribute their quota to the continuous development of the country.

He also called for the development of positive mindset, which he described as the compass for navigating through the storms of life.

Madumere said, “This is our country, and we must contribute our quota by playing positive roles in repositioning the socioeconomic, socio cultural, infrastructural and peaceful disposition for building egalitarian society for all citizenry. ”

In a statement he released yesterday in Owerri, Madumere said, “We must reflect deeply on Nigeria’s 65 years of nationhood” and described the journey as full of resilience in the face of challenges.

“We must continue to strive and work hard for a greater future of our yearnings and aspirations through bringing out our ingenuity, acumen and dexterity for the stabilization and transformation of our economic stability.

“The time to set up this mechanism is now, look forward, rejig and reengineer our financial base is now and be futuristic, build equitable and egalitarian society for the incoming generation,” he said.
