Ex NANS President, Asefon, Hails Tinubu’s Bus Approval For Tertiary Institutions

Comr Asefon Sunday has commended President Bola Ahmed
Tinubu over bus approval for universities, polytechnics and colleges of education student union government.

It would be recalled that Tinubu had announced bus approval for tertiary institution’ SUGs to ease transportation stress/burden and cost for student and parent.

In a press statement, Asefon also said the removal of all condition on student loan is also another heart warming news to every parents and vulnerable students.

He further said the open caution issued to all head of Tertiary institutions on arbitrary increase of payable fee remains the best move of the new government to further renew trust, confidence and love of the entire Nigerian Student in the new administration of renewed hope of President Bola Tinubu.

“As a former NANS president, I sincerely thank president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for once again displaying his fatherly love for Nigerian students, his passion for education development and his unprecedented consideration for poor masses most critical at this post subsidy era.

“The inclusion of student in conditional cash transfer and food palliative will go a long way as well mark first of it kind in recent in the history of Nigeria, no administration has ever place youth and student in high priority like this hence my gratitude to President Tinubu.

“I urge all university that recently hike their payable which include University of Abuja, University of Lagos and University of Jos among others to reserve with immediate effect in line with this presidential directive. While urging them and others to be concious and refrain from any action such as arbitrary hikes of payable which are capable of inciting Nigerian students against the new Government.

“I have no regrets leading President Asiwaju Renewed Hope campaign accross the 36 state and FCT campuses during electioneering campaign under the auspices of Tinubu/ Shetima Students Vanguard, Asiwaju have justify our effort, he has indeed renewed Nigerian students hope,” he added.
