Former Secretary of Nasarawa State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board (NSMPWB), Alhaji Abdullahi Shehu, is dead.
He died at 75 after a brief illness.
Shehu, who was the Sarkin Alhazain Lafia, died yesterday at the National Hospital Abuja.
The deceased served variously as Secretary of Plateau State Sports Council, Secretary of Nasarawa State Sports Council, and Permanent Secretary of Nasarawa State Civil Service.
In a statement, his in-laws, Alhaji Rayyanu Bala, said the Janaza prayers would be held today at 10 a.m. at the Emir of Lafia’s Palace.
