In a joint statement, the President of the National Old Students Association, Dr. Wale Okediran, and the chairman of the 80th Anniversary Central Planning Committee, Dr. Olusegun K. Ahmadu, emphasised that the celebration is not only a reunion platform for former students but also an opportunity to drive impactful projects that will enhance learning conditions for current students.

Beyond the fundraising gala, the 80th anniversary celebration will feature an X (Twitter) Space conversation, designed to reconnect alumni across different generations. Additionally, a comprehensive documentary chronicling the school’s evolution and achievements will be promoted digitally.

“For 80 remarkable years, Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo has stood as a beacon of learning, growth, and community transformation, shaping generations of thinkers, leaders, and dreamers,” the statement read.
