The Bauchi State chapter of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore has said that it remains committed to promoting peace and strengthening the relationship between farmers and herders across the state.
State chairman of the group, Sale Garba, said this while addressing local government executives at a meeting held at the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Tomb in Bauchi.
Garba said the organisation will introduce new strategies to support government and stakeholders in sustaining peace and security in communities.
He stressed that Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore is committed to contributing to socio-economic development and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.
The chairman advised Fulani herders to avoid illegal or unregistered groups that could lead them into criminal activities, urging unity and discipline within the Fulani community.
Garba commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for his continuous support to the organisation, and also appreciated the national chairman, Alhaji Bello Bodejo, for his efforts in promoting unity and understanding between Fulani and other ethnic groups in the country.
