Nigerian Afro-fusion and Afrobeat songwriter Winnerman has continued to gain attention in the music industry, following the release of his exciting new tune, “Mon’Ami.”

The 32-year-old entertainer shared a post promoting the song, teasing his expanding fanbase in Nigeria and beyond. Born Ehigie Moses Ikeakhe on March 26, 1994, in Benin City, South-south Nigeria, Winnerman is an entrepreneur, and creative visionary whose sound combines African rhythms with international musical influences.

A graduate of Florida International University, Winnerman also studied International Entrepreneurship at Synergy University and earned an MSc in International Business Management from University of Sunderland.

Winnerman made his musical debut in 2016 with “Nobody Gat What We Gat,” a record that gained attention across Lagos and Moscow.

His breakout single, “Mon’Ami” — French for “My Friend” — released on October 1, 2025, further cemented his place in the Afrobeat scene by blending Afrobeat groove, soulful rhythm, and international flair into a feel-good anthem centered on love, friendship, and human connection across cultures.
