Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, has called on the management of the FCT College of Education in Zuba to implement a curriculum that is both comprehensive and globally relevant, while also catering for local needs.

Speaking at the college’s combined third convocation ceremony, Mahmoud emphasised the importance of adapting the curriculum to drive meaningful change.

She stated that such adaptations would enable the college to produce graduates who are not only marketable but also globally competitive and relevant in today’s job market.

While congratulating the 6,068 new graduates for completing their various courses and programs, she encouraged them to apply the knowledge, skills, and expertise they acquired in their pursuit of national development.

The minister acknowledged the existing infrastructure challenges within the education sector but assured attendees that the administration is actively addressing these issues.
