There is low voter turnout at Polling Unit 007 in Lugbe as of 10:10am.

The polling area remains scanty, with security personnel and election officials visibly outnumbering voters at the unit.

Only a few residents are present despite the commencement of the electoral process. An election official was heard announcing to party agents and voters that over 8,000 voters are registered at the polling unit.

Meanwhile, allegations of voter inducement have also surfaced at the polling station. Some voters alleged that party agents were gathered in a corner of the area allegedly settling individuals to influence their voting decisions.

The claims, however, could not be independently verified as of the time of filing this report.

One voter, who identified himself simply as Yaro, said he was voting for the first time but suggested he expected to be given something before casting his ballot.

Several other young persons were also heard making similar remarks.
