Federal Housing Authority Director Kidnapped In Abuja

After the abduction of two teenage sisters by suspected bandits at Guita community, Chikakore in Kubwa, Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Wednesday, a staff of Federal Housing Authority has been abducted at Pambara New Extension.

The incident took place at about 12:30 am yesterday in the same Bwari Area Council

The staff who was identified as Aondo Ver, a director at Federal Housing Authority, FCT was kidnapped by gunmen suspected to be bandits.

However, FCT police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, is yet to respond to the messages and calls for official confirmation of the incident.

Pambara New Extension is a few metres away from the military camp and checkpoint in Bwari.

One of the villagers, who was identified as Adamu, said the kidnappers were said to have gained access through the fence after cutting the barbed wires.

He said attempts by the vigilantes in the area to rescue the victim were abortive because they were poorly armed.
