Sports and digital entertainment company, BetKing, yesterday said it has commenced the second edition of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative tagged: “BetKing Cares”.

Speaking on this year’s campaign, the managing director of KingMakers, Gossy Ukanwoke, expressed his enthusiasm for the campaign’s potential impact across communities within Nigeria.

According to him, the month-long endeavour will create a transformative impact by promoting health and wellness in Nigerian communities across eight states, saying with a projected impact on over 5,000 individuals, the outreach will focus on three key areas: maternal health, occupational health, as well as general health and wellness.

This year, the campaign aim was to deliver impactful medical, and food-provision services across several key states in Nigeria, including Lagos, Osun, Ekiti, Delta, Akwa-Ibom, Enugu, Kano, Benue, and Abia.

LEADERSHIP Friday gathered that by strategically targeting these locations, BetKing intends to address pressing healthcare needs and enhance the overall well-being of its host communities.

This initiative is implemented in collaboration with Market Doctors, a distinguished non-governmental organization (NGO) renowned for its exceptional social services and community health initiatives.
