Carloha Nigeria has launched a nationwide emergency roadside assistance and maintenance programme to provide prompt support to motorists experiencing vehicle breakdowns on highways and major roads across the country.

The initiative, known as the CarlohaCare 6-6-7 Rescue Initiative, offers free emergency roadside assistance and reinforces the company’s commitment to improving the vehicle ownership experience through round-the-clock support delivered by professionally trained rescue teams.

Speaking on the initiative, Carloha Nigeria’s After-sales Manager, Mr. Samson Akinbowale, said the programme is designed to give customers confidence by ensuring that help is always available whenever unexpected vehicle breakdowns occur.

He noted that, beyond emergency rescue operations, the company is also providing on-location maintenance support to reduce vehicle downtime for both private motorists and fleet operators.

Also speaking, the company’s General Manager, Marketing, Mr. Felix Mahan, described the initiative as a natural extension of Carloha Nigeria’s customer-focused strategy.

According to him, the rescue programme is intended to eliminate many of the concerns associated with vehicle ownership by ensuring that Chery owners can access professional assistance whenever they require it.

In a move the company described as an industry first, Carloha Nigeria announced that the free roadside rescue service will, for a limited period, also be available to owners of non-Chery vehicles, subject to operational capacity. Chery customers will, however, continue to enjoy priority during periods of high demand.

Mahan said the company decided to extend the service to other motorists to contribute to safer roads and reduce the number of stranded vehicles across the country.

He explained that non-Chery motorists requiring assistance can access the same emergency hotline, with eligibility determined at the time of the request.

Beyond emergency towing, the initiative also provides on-location maintenance and technical support for fleet operators and individual customers, subject to applicable service charges, reducing the need for workshop visits while improving vehicle uptime and overall ownership experience.
