Unilever Nigeria Plc has posted a net profit of N26.4 billion for the nine months ended September 30, 2026, and declared an interim dividend of N11.5 billion.

The company results released to the investing public showed that Unilever Nigeria recorded revenue of N184.0 billion, representing an 18 percent growth compared with N155.4 billion in the corresponding period of 2025.

Gross profit increased by 34 percent to N85.5 billion from N63.9 billion in the prior-year period, with gross margin improving to 46.4 percent from 41.2 percent. Operating profit rose by 27 percent to N38.5 billion, while net profit increased by 20 percent to N26.4 billion, compared with N21.9 billion in 2025.

Following the strong performance, the company’s Board has approved an interim dividend of N2.00 per ordinary share, subject to applicable withholding tax, payable to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at the close of business on October 30, 2026.

Speaking on the results, managing director, Tobi Adeniyi, said the performance reflects the underlying strength and resilience of the business despite increased pressure on consumer demand in the third quarter.

“While consumer demand came under increased pressure in the third quarter as household disposable incomes remained constrained, we stayed focused on delivering value, strengthening availability, executing relevant innovation and maintaining disciplined execution,” he said.

He added that “this focus delivered consistent revenue growth, a 34 percent increase in gross profit, and 20 percent growth in net profit. We continue to build a more balanced portfolio through sharper choices, accessible innovation and targeted brand investment.”

Adeniyi added that the company remains confident in the long-term potential of Nigeria and is committed to investing responsibly in its brands, operations and people to create enduring value for all stakeholders.
