The firm acknowledged that investing in education is the most cost-effective way to drive economic development, improve skills and opportunities for Nigerian youths.

“PressPayNg is ready to partner with every Nigerian parent and student in making tertiary education accessible, affordable and attainable,” team lead, technology implementation for PressPayNg, Ebuka Nwakoro said in a chart with journalists in Abuja.

“We have offered tertiary education scholarships and tuition donations to several students across the geo political zones in the country,” he added.

Nwakoro said Nigeria is being incapacitated academically by the ongoing six months nationwide ASUU strike.

According to him, “Nigeria’s capacity building is in deficit with incessant industrial actions as the ongoing nationwide strike by ASUU and school dropout occasioned by lack of financing support. Over 570 students are currently school drop outs across the country.”

PressPayNg is a social enterprise EdTech (Application) platform where Nigerian students crowdfund their education by generating a unique link which they share with their community of friends, families, celebrities, donors, philanthropists and diasporans to enable them curate funding support in a credible, transparent, and seamless manner.

PressPayNg has a partnership with FCMB for students and parents to open education savings accounts directly on the PressPayNg App and save towards the payment of school fees in a flexible manner with several benefits.
