A major milestone has been recorded in Abuja’s real estate sector as Rosefield Industries Ltd officially performed the groundbreaking ceremony for Maliyah Hills Estate, a residential development positioned to redefine modern living and long-term property investment within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The ceremony attracted investors, real estate stakeholders, infrastructure experts, and development partners, many of whom described the project as a strategic response to Abuja’s rapidly expanding housing demand and urban growth.

Speaking during the event, Chairman of Rosefield Industries Ltd, Barr. Muhammad Sani Sidi-Aliyu, said the vision behind Maliyah Hills Estate extends beyond housing delivery, noting that the project is designed to create a secure, sustainable, and value-driven residential ecosystem capable of serving generations.

According to him, the estate represents a unique blend of modern infrastructure, accessibility, investment security, and community-focused living.

“We are building more than houses. We are building a future-ready community designed for comfort, security, and long-term value appreciation. Abuja remains one of Africa’s fastest-growing cities, and developments like this are necessary to support that growth responsibly,” he stated.

Group Managing Director of Whetherheads Advertising Group, Mr. Abiodun Iderawumi, noted that the estate comes at a critical time when demand for quality and affordable housing continues to rise among working professionals, young families, and upwardly mobile residents within the FCT.

He explained that homebuyers are increasingly prioritizing infrastructure quality, environmental planning, security, and investment potential over location alone.

Also speaking, the Chief Executive Officer of Kamen Construction Limited, Dr. Edmund Oshioke, assured subscribers and stakeholders that infrastructure delivery for the project would align with modern construction and urban development standards.

He disclosed that the estate would feature quality road networks, efficient drainage systems, reliable power solutions, and other essential infrastructure required for functional and sustainable community living.

On the project’s diaspora investment potential, Chief Executive Officer of Hilvard Realty Ltd, Mr. Moses Abah, described Maliyah Hills Estate as a strategic opportunity for Nigerians in the diaspora seeking secure and credible real estate investments back home.

According to him, the development combines strong location advantage, transparency, proper infrastructure planning, and long-term appreciation potential — factors increasingly influencing investment decisions among diaspora investors.

Stakeholders at the event expressed optimism that the successful delivery of Maliyah Hills Estate would further strengthen investor confidence in Abuja’s real estate market while contributing meaningfully to urban development and housing expansion within the nation’s capital
