The disclosure was made on Thursday when the managing director of Somat Solar Planet, Solomon Asibor, unveiled Sarah Igunbor, former president of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN, Edo State chapter as its brand ambassador.

At the signing agreement ceremony, Asibor said clean energy is the way to reduce air pollution and create a cleaner environment.

“What we are talking about nowadays is clean energy because it does not contribute to air pollution. So, in solar, even when we have a constant power supply, people still need solar to reduce the electricity tariff.

People pay a lot of bills for electricity, so with solar, you can reduce your electricity bill.

“And for Nigerians that don’t have a good power supply, Somat Solar Planet is here to alleviate all those shortcomings, and this is why we are engaging brand ambassadors to inform and market our products to Nigerians and beyond the shores of the country.
