FirstCap Limited, a First HoldCo Plc subsidiary, was named the Capital Markets Architect of the Year at the 2025 BusinessDay Banks and Other Financial Institutions (BAFI) Awards.

According to organisers, the recognition underscores FirstCap Limited’s pivotal role in shaping Nigeria’s capital markets by creating innovative investment products and financing structures designed to deepen market efficiency and foster sustainable economic growth.

Receiving the award, the managing director and chief executive officer of FirstCap Limited, Ukandu E. Ukandu, expressed appreciation to BusinessDay Media for the honour, describing it as a validation of the company’s consistent drive for innovation and excellence.
