UK-based Nigerian gospel artiste, Folabi Nuel (née Afolabi Emmanuel Fagbemi), has teamed up with renowned Integrity Music worship leader Matt Redman for a deeply moving new release titled “There Is Glory On The Other Side of This.”
The worship and prayer track, inspired by Psalm 23, offers a fresh and uplifting message of hope. It reflects on God’s unwavering protection during difficult times, reminding listeners that they are never alone or forgotten. The song points to the promise of glory and restoration that awaits beyond pain, suffering, or trials.
With its heartfelt lyrics and powerful delivery, the collaboration is resonating with audiences as a stirring anthem of faith and perseverance.
The song opens with Folabi Nuel singing the first verse and hook, followed by Matt Redman joining in to harmonize on the chorus. Redman then leads the second verse, with Folabi and background vocals blending beautifully on the chorus once again.
Though released a few days ago on the Integrity Music YouTube channel, the song has only garnered 52 likes and 1,700 views, suggesting it’s still under the radar for many listeners. Yet, it’s a powerful piece, perfect for entering a time of prayer after a long day or during moments when the heart feels heavy or discouraged.
Hear the lyrics:
“And though I walk through the valley of shadows, I will fear no evil; When I don’t know your purpose, I can still know your presence, And your heart, Nothing is wasted in your hands, oh God; You have always got … oh God.
“There’s glory on the other side of this (2x), And If I go through the shadows, I’ll be still for I know ooo; There’s glory on the other side of this, I know there is.”
Born Afolabi Emmanuel Fagbemi in Lagos, Nigeria, the 33-year-old singer, songwriter and worship leader released his first single ‘God of Heaven’ in 2015, which ranked number one on the Rhythm 93.7FM and the Holy Holla Top 5. He would his second single ‘Everlasting’ later that year.
