In a statement signed by its co-chair Rev. Abainitus Akila Hamman and Dr. Yusuf Yakubu Arrigasiyyu, the forum prayed that the Almighty grants him eternal peace and comforts his family, loved ones, and the nation in this period of grief.

“Former President Buhari was a distinguished leader, a patriotic statesman, and a man of unwavering commitment to the unity, security, and development of our nation. His service, marked by discipline, integrity, and dedication, left an indelible mark on Nigeria’s political history and governance.

“May his life and legacy continue to inspire us to build a nation rooted in peace, justice, and unity. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him the highest level in Jannatul Firdaus,” the statement said.
