The Offa Summer School is an annual educational programme aimed at providing students with additional support and learning opportunities during the long vacation.

The MOK Foundation, founded by renowned philanthropist, Muhydeen Kayode, has been actively involved in promoting education and empowering students in Offa and its environs.

During the closing ceremony of the 2023 Summer School, Muhydeen Kayode, represented by the foundation’s Team Lead, Mr Saheed Lawal, presented the scholarship awards to the recipients.

He emphasized the importance of education in transforming lives and commended the students for their exceptional performance.

Lawal said the foundation aims to bridge educational gaps, provide scholarships, and support the less privileged in accessing quality education.

One of the scholarship recipients, Fatia Qozeem, said she was incredibly grateful to the Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode Foundation for the kind gesture.

“It will enable me to pursue my educational aspirations without any financial burden, and I am determined to work even harder to make a difference,” Qozeem said.

The 2023 National President of Offa Students Union, Olaide Abdullahi, also expressed his appreciation to MOK Foundation’s for his continuous support for the youths in the area.
