Founder, Dr Divine Igwe Impact Foundation (DDIIF), Divine Igwe, has disbursed N200,000 each to 13 undergraduates of Ezza North local government area of Ebonyi State to assist in their education pursuit and alleviate their burden.
The undergraduates drawn from the 11 wards of the council were handed the cheque of N200,000 each during the launch of the foundation at the Community Primary School, Okposi Umuoghara, Ezza North council.
Igwe who is also the executive secretary, Ebonyi State Health Insurance Agency (EBSHIA) said that the education empowerment would be an annual event and urged the students to remain committed to their studies and shun any act that could jeopardise the future.
He said the free healthcare programme would cut across both women, men and youths, adding that social status and financial capabilities would not be considered under the programme and urged rural people to make good use of the opportunity.
Igwe said he is also sponsoring a football tournament among youths in the different wards of the local government, adding that the tournament will help to unite the people and end social vices and restiveness amongst the youths in the local government.
