The Abosede Tomori Foundation (ATF), in collaboration with education technology firm Study AI, has launched Nigeria’s first artificial intelligence–powered examination preparation platform, enrolling 200 senior secondary school 3 (SS3) students from Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II in its pilot phase.
The ceremony held at the weekend is designed to transform how students prepare for the West African Examination Council (WAEC), the National Examination Council (NECO and the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) by delivering intelligent, curriculum-aligned digital learning and personalised academic support through artificial intelligence.
The founder of ATF and special assistant on Media to the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Segun Tomori, described the initiative as a strategic intervention under the foundation’s skills development and scholarship scheme—one of its five core focus areas.
The foundation is concerned that across Nigeria, millions of secondary school students continue to struggle with national examinations due to inadequate learning resources, outdated study techniques and limited access to personalised academic guidance, contributing to consistently high failure rates in major examinations.
Study AI, Tomori explained, was developed to tackle these gaps head-on.
According to him, the platform offers real-time tutoring and corrections, adaptive and personalised study plans, gamified learning incentives, collaborative group study tools and exam simulations that mirror real testing conditions. Built for scale, the platform is positioned to support hundreds of thousands of learners nationwide as adoption expands.
The chief executive officer of Study AI, Yvonne Momah, said the platform marked a new chapter in examination readiness for Nigerian students by prioritising intelligent and personalised learning.
The pilot programme will benefit 200 SS3 students selected from secondary schools in Isolo and Ejigbo local council development areas within Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II. The beneficiaries will enjoy full access to the platform until the commencement of their examinations next year.
