The Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation has registered 300 indigent students for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination in Kwara State.
The registration which came in two batches was flagged off at the foundation’s head office in Offa, Offa local government area of the state.

The executive director of the foundation, Mr. Lawal Saheed who spoke on behalf of the founder, noted that education is part of the goals of the foundation and the free JAMB registration programme was aimed at empowering talented and underprivileged students by removing financial barriers to their educational pursuits.
He added that the foundation believes that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their background.
He said the 300 recipients were chosen through a rigorous selection process based on academic merit, financial need and demonstrated commitment to community service.

“We are very happy for this scholarship provided to us by MOK Foundation and we shall forever be grateful to them,” a beneficiary, Ayomide Oparinde, said.

The head of the department of humanities at the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Mr. Muhydeen Bammeke, said the founder of MOK Foundation is not an elected official but an entrepreneur working to make money and give back to the society.

The secretary of ANCOPSS who is also the principal of Moremi High School, Mr. Laolu Oyawoye, said MOK had written his name in gold with what he is doing through empowerment, enhancing personal development, economic progress, and community building.
