As Nigerians join others around the world to celebrate this year’s Eid al-Adha, the Caleb Danladi Foundation has extended its greetings and heartfelt wishes, calling for faith, unity and sacrifice among citizens.
According to the foundation, all Nigerians should embrace peace, joy and spiritual renewal for development to thrive. A statement issued by the founder & CEO of the foundation, Captain Caleb Danladi Bako, said Eid al-Adha, also known as the festival of sacrifice, is more than just a time of celebration.
“It is a profound reminder of the virtues of faith, devotion, sacrifice, compassion and unwavering obedience to God as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). These values resonate deeply with the mission of our foundation and our hopes of building a harmonious and united society.
“This sacred occasion also calls us to reflect on the importance of unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among all citizens, regardless of religious or ethnic background. At a time when mutual respect and understanding are essential for our collective well-being, we urge everyone to embrace these principles and foster a spirit of compassion and fellowship,” the statement said.
“As Nigerians commemorate the spirit of sacrifice, let them renew their commitment to supporting one another, promoting goodwill, and contributing positively to the growth and harmony of our communities.
“In the true spirit of Eid, may we continue to extend kindness and generosity to those around us and strengthen the bonds that unite us. May this Eid bring you and your loved ones joy, peace, renewed hope, and a deeper sense of purpose,” the statement added.
