France has launched a new French language laboratory for the Nigerian military personnel at the Nigerian Defense Academy in Kaduna State.
On site to launch the laboratory were the French Defense Attaché, in charge of the development of French language in the Nigerian Military, Colonel G Dujon, and his deputy, Colonel Chauvancy.
In highlighting the importance of learning French language, Major General J.O Ochai of the NDA, Kaduna, said the language is a key to developing Nigerian military interoperability with Francophonie countries in the west African region.
Meantime, Colonel Dujon reiterated France’s interest to support the development of the Nigeria’s strategic and operational capability, in addition to supporting a robust French language learning structure in the Nigerian Defense Academy and beyond.
