Federal University of Technology Minna has matriculated 7,099  students as the Vice Chancellor, Professor Adamu Kuta, assured of their journey to growth, discovery and transformation.

Speaking at the 37th matriculation ceremony of the university at Gidan Kwanu main campus of the university, the vice chancellor said the university was nationally recognised for its pursuit of academic excellence, innovation and technological advancement.

While congratulating the students, the vice chancellor said this year, 11,109 candidates applied through direct entry and post-UTME and 7,750 were offered admission but only  7,099 had completed their registration and taken the matriculation oath.

He said, “At FUT Minna, your academic journey will be one of growth, discovery, and transformation. Our learning environment is enriched with state-of-the-art libraries, laboratories, workshops and digital learning platforms all designed to support your academic and professional development.

“I urge you to fully utilise these resources to enhance your learning experience. We place high value on discipline, integrity and personal development. I must remind you to steer clear of examination malpractice, cultism, drug abuse and other unacceptable behaviours as outlined in the Students’ Handbook,” Prof Kuta added.
