Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has called on members of the APC in the state to shun anything capable of  truncating democracy and the forthcoming general elections, warning that doing that would stagnate progress and development.

The governor spoke while  inaugurating the Kano State APC GoVernorship Campaign Council yesterday, saying Kano would continue to be an APC State no matter the situation.

Ganduje  urged members of the campaign council and those of the committees to justify the confidence reposed in them by working hard to ensure the victory of the party in the forthcoming elections.

He announced two new campaign initiatives which would enable the APC achieve a resounding victory in the 2023 elections.

He described the APC governorship candidate, Dr Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and his running mate, Hon.Murtala Sule Garo, as a winning team that would coast to victory in the 2023 elections.
