Gbenga Adigun: Young Entrepreneur, Co-founder Of Rebar Perfecta, Making Impact In Construction Support Sector

As the co-founder of Rebar Perfecta, Gbenga Adigun embodies the epitome of entrepreneurial spirit and leadership. Rebar Perfecta is a construction support firm that is chiefly into the dredging, distribution of sharps and other services around dredging. The company is also known as a dynamic construction and real estate support service company that also operates within the marine industry.

Early Life:
Gbenga was born to Pius Adigun, an astute engineer in glass manufacturing and Mrs. Aderonke Adigun, a businesswoman.

Education:
Gbenga Adigun attended Model College, Ojo and Mason College, Festac Town, Lagos for his secondary education. He then proceeded to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State where he earned his first degree, Bachelor of Technology in Pure & Applied Mathematics.

He has also attended various impactful courses home and abroad; including the highly prestigious Harvard University of the United States where he was a course participant of the class – “Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies” in 2017. Other schools attended are the Strathmore Business School, Kenya, Henley Business School, UK and the prestigious Lagos Business School in Lagos.

Career:
Gbenga Adigun started his interesting career in the Banking & Finance space where he spent about 12 years. His Banking & Finance experience started with Guaranty Trust Bank and culminated in Nigeria’s largest non-bank Financial Institution, ARM.

In 2020, he did a 360-degree switch across industries to fully dive into the Construction and Construction Logistics sector. He moved his company very quickly within three years to be an industry leader in the Construction Support / Construction Logistics space.

Recognition:
Adigun’s visionary leadership and commitment to excellence were acknowledged when his firm, Rebar Perfecta, was recognized by African Brands Media as one of ‘The Africa’s 100 Most Valuable Brands 2023’.

Also in 2023, Africa Brands CEO Forum announced him as the recipient of the prestigious Africa’s Infrastructure Building Support Brand CEO of the Year 2023 award.

He has also bagged the prestigious African Leader of Integrity Merit Award for excellence in entrepreneurship.

In April this year, Gbenga Adigun was named as an honoree in The Outstanding Personalities (T.O. P) Prize which showcases a diverse cohort of individuals who have made significant strides in shaping Nigeria’s corporate and business landscape.

As a stakeholder in the Nigerian construction and real estate industry, Adigun shares his insights at seminars, workshops and with the media.
