Geofort Homes and Properties Ltd (Geofort Africa), a fast-rising youth-driven real estate development and investment company, has successfully trained hundreds of young Nigerians through a free five-day virtual training tagged “The Foundry.”

The initiative, designed to equip participants with essential skills for navigating Nigeria’s booming real estate sector, attracted students, corps members, and early-career professionals seeking to build reliable income streams and long-term career paths.

Speaking during the training, Mr. Emeya Friday, CEO of Geofort Homes and Properties Ltd, stated that the programme was designed to equip young Nigerians with the knowledge and skills needed to kickstart their careers and thrive in the real estate sector. The training covered practical competencies, sales techniques, marketing strategies, and operational insights essential for success.

“The opportunities in the real estate sector are enormous, and this training is tailored to help young Nigerians tap into them,” said Mr. Emeya Friday. “Our goal is to create lasting impact in Nigeria’s real estate space and reshape the future of property ownership for youths through empowerment and modern skills training.”

Also speaking during the training, CEO of Brass & Castles, Mr. Peacemaker Afolabi, said the first investment needed is not money but confidence and knowledge. According to him, when one understands how money moves in real estate, he or she begins to see opportunities others overlook.

“Real estate is more than just buildings, it’s a tangible asset with real utility and intrinsic value. You don’t always need capital to start in real estate. What you need first is confidence and the right knowledge,” Afolabi affirmed.

Furthermore, a keynote speaker at the training, Content Manager of UVEST Homes, Salome Yadung, highlighted the importance of customer relationship management in real estate. According to her, customer relationship management is both a strategy and a tool used to manage relationships with existing and prospective clients with the goal of building lasting connections where interaction leads to repeat engagement.

“Don’t be quick to sell, build relationships and see potential clients as human first and treat them the way you would like to be treated,” Yadung added.

Some other notable Facilitators at the traing included Fabian George, CEO of Cuddle Infrastructural Finance Cooperative; Lukman Shobowale, CEO of Dukiya Investments, and Olamide Eniola-Peters, CEO of MapWay Real Estate, each bringing years of experience and proven success in Nigeria’s real estate sector.

Participants lauded the training for its relevance and execution. Many described the workshop as valuable, practical, and providing them with a deeper understanding of tools they could immediately apply in the real estate market.

Geofort Africa is committed to building a generation of young, empowered property owners and real estate entrepreneurs. Through verified land sales, practical training, and mentorship, the company’s vision is to make real estate ownership simple, secure, and accessible for young, future-focused Nigerians.
