God Sent Tinubu To Heal Nigeria, Says Umahi

Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, has said there is clear evidence that President Bola Tinubu was sent by God to fix and heal Nigeria, citing ongoing infrastructure projects across the country as proof.

Umahi made the remarks while inspecting a road project in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, where he praised the Tinubu administration’s investment in road infrastructure and its impact on economic development and job creation.

According to the minister, improved road networks have reduced travel time and contributed to the country’s development.

“I think healing has come to the land through President Bola Tinubu, and the evidence is there. You can see the road you have been plying on all the way from Abakaliki to this point,” Umahi said.

He described road infrastructure as a critical driver of national development, arguing that the ongoing projects have created employment opportunities for thousands of Nigerians.

Addressing concerns over hardship in the country, Umahi maintained that infrastructure projects were helping to tackle unemployment by engaging workers and stimulating economic activities.

“When people talk about hunger, do you see the sea of heads that are employed by these companies doing this job? If this infrastructure is not going on, these people will be on the road; some might even be tempted to be kidnappers,” he said.

The minister added that the projects were also creating opportunities for local businesses through the demand for construction materials such as sand, chippings, iron rods and cement.

“I stopped over there to buy garden egg, the person selling it has created value. Sand is being sold, chippings are being sold, iron rods are being sold, cement is being sold, and all these are local contents, so I do not know what else people say that we should do,” Umahi added.
