Nigeria National League (NNL) club Gombe United have announced the sacking of their head coach, Bala Nkiyu.

Gombe United made the announcement through a statement yesterday.

“The management of Gombe United FC wishes to notify the public that it has parted ways with its technical adviser Bala Nkiyu by mutual consent,” reads the statement.

“The management of the club wishes coach Bala Nkiyu all the very best in his future endeavours and also appreciates the efforts he put in during his stay with the Savannah Scorpions.

“The management is working round the clock at the moment to get the best possible candidate to replace the technical adviser in the coming days as we continue to intensify preparations ahead of the second stanza of the season.
