Gospel Musician, Aity Dennis Thrills Akwa Ibom Governor

The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno was recently treated to a very unique and splendid event of dramatic dances, amazing music performances and enriching entertainment galore, in Lagos by Gospel music icon, Aity Dennis. 

She led a fantastic crew of top and youthful singers. The crew which comprised of the Tribe of Judah classical choir, the Tribe of Judah contemporary choir, Mount Rivera school dance group among others, dished out soul nourishing entertainment. 

The Governor and other guests were totally ‘arrested’ by delightful, enchanting performances of the ensemble. They sang along and joyfully applauded the artistes.

Highlights of the event was the unveiling, dedication and presentation of “Keep Moving”, the autobiography of Dr Dennis Inyang, by Governor Eno 

Also another highpoint of the night was the electrifying performance of Aity Dennis which held the audience spellbound. Aity Dennis Inyang who hails from Akwa Ibom State has been a gospel music icon having made her mark in the two decades and more of her sojourn in gospel music terrain. Aity who is a vivacious dancer and singer bagged a doctorate degree from Christone University, Atlanta, Georgia in USA, and got the honour of being among 50 most outstanding gospel woman. Back to her performances in Lagos, Aity known for songs like ‘You blow my mind’ hit song from her album with same title released in 2020; ‘Call my number’, Amkpadem and others, wowed the crowd with the renditions of her hit songs such as ‘Amazed’, ‘Beresuene’ , and her latest potential hit, ‘King of Kings’.

The event was held at the Megalife auditorium of the Sureword Assembly headquarters, Okota, Lagos. Governor Eno and his high-powered delegation from Akwa Ibom State and dignitaries all over Nigeria, visited the state to honour Dr Dennis Inyang, clergy and husband of Aity Dennis. 

Dr Inyang, was honoured for his excellence and commitment to humanity, impact on entertainment, Christendom, publishing, and creative industry. Dr Dennis Inyang is founder and executive producer of TDC Music label. 

The grand event which the Akwa Ibom Governor presided on, also doubled as the special 60th birthday ceremony of Dr Inyang. 

The ceremony was graced by eminent Nigerians such as Archbishop John Osa-Oni, National Vice President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (South West); legal luminary, Barrister Helen Christian; Archbishop John Praise, National Deputy President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), from Abuja; Reverend Ekpenyong Bassey (Papa Karis);Dr. Sylvanus Ukafia, Bishop Humphrey Erumaka, Bishop Nat Beredugo aka Praise Machine, and so many others.
