Adedoyin, the wife of popular gospel singer Damilare ‘Dare Melody’ Odunuga, is dead.

Adedoyin passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024.

Dare Melody announced the heartbreaking news of his wife’s passing on Instagram, expressing profound grief over the incident, describing her as a “beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend.”

He wrote: “BLACK DAY @ DM MULTIMEDIA – DM Multimedia Mourns The Demise Of The Wife Of The Chairman (Evang. Dare Melody).

“It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the transition to eternal rest of our beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend (Mrs. ADEDOYIN ODUNUGA, NEE: ODAGI), who passed away early morning today 24th of October 2024. RIP. You Will Forever Be In Our Hearts.”

Their bond was evidently seen online, with Dare Melody often publicly acknowledging Adedoyin’s unwavering support.

Meanwhile, fellow gospel singer, Esther Igbekele, also reacted to the demise of Dare Melody’s wife on her Facebook page, saying, “This is a very rude shock for me. We were together 10 days ago at your husband @officialdaremelody birthday thanksgiving party. I never knew that will be the last day I will see you. Wow!.

“I’m saddened with the news of your demise. May your soul rest in peace and May God grant your family the fortitude to bear this great loss.”

Dare Melody had presented a new house to the deceased on her birthday in February 2023.

His influence in the gospel music scene is significant, with hits like “Damilare” and “Alade Ogo” inspiring countless fans.
