Gospel Singer Uchefield Drops New Single “What God Cannot Do”

Renowned gospel artist Uchechukwu Austin Okezie, widely known as Uchefield Okezie, has released a powerful new single titled “What God Cannot Do.” This soul-stirring anthem highlights God’s limitless power and encourages listeners to place their trust in His divine ability.

In an interview with LEADERSHIP Weekend, Uchefield reflected on his musical journey, crediting his late mother as the inspiration behind his passion for music. “My late mother (bless her) was part of a popular choir before I was born, so I was exposed to music from a very young age. This inspired me to join my local church choir early on, and the rest is history,” he shared.

Uchefield describes his musical style as a blend of contemporary and southern gospel, enriched with a touch of African flavor.

Before the release of his latest single, Uchefield debuted with “I Surrender Project,” recorded in London in 2018. The project featured tracks such as “Shout Halleluyah” featuring Andrew Bello, “Imela, Jesu” featuring Abimbola Olaofe, and “Praise You Forever.”

He later held a live recording session in Lagos, which included songs like “Joy Overflow” featuring Mike Abdul and Dbass, and “Eze You Reign” featuring NG-Greater.

The talented singer revealed that he has several upcoming projects and events scheduled for next year across the UK, US, and Nigeria.

When it comes to dream collaborations, Uchefield hopes to work with renowned gospel artists such as Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Sinach, Joe Mettle, and Pastor William McDowell.
