Gov Aiyedatiwa Casts Ballot, Lauds Early Arrival Of Voting Materials

The Ondo State governor and candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Saturday’s governorship election in the State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has cast his vote in the exercise even as he lauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for early arrival of electoral materials.

Aiyedatiwa cast his vote at about 8:50am at Unit 5, Ward 4, Obenla, in Ilaje local government area of the State.

Governor Aiyedatiwa commended INEC for early arrival of voting materials at 7:20am, and prompt accreditation of voters.

LEADERSHIP reports that voting started at about 8:30am on Saturday.

Aiyedatiwa also expressed joy at the large voter turnout in his Obenla community.

INEC had confirmed that 17 political parties are participating in the governorship election, which is simultaneously taking place in the 18 local government areas of the state.
