Gov Fintiri Flags Off Presidential, National Assembly Campaigns In Adamawa

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has kicked off the presidential and National Assembly campaigns.

He urged the people to vote for All Progressives Congress (APC)candidates at all levels in the 2027 general elections.

Addressing a mammoth crowd at the Government House Gate in Yola, yesterday, the governor, represented by his deputy, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, commended the federal government’s laudable policies and programmes.

She said the ceremony allows appreciating President Bola Tinubu for setting Nigeria on the right track to progress and development.

The governor thumbs up the President’s policies and pledged unalloyed support for him and other APC candidates.

According to Fintiri, the party would embark on door-to-door campaigns to ensure the victory of all APC candidates at the federal and state levels.

“We should all vote for APC from top to bottom and vice versa,” he said

The state APC chairman,  Bello Hamza Madagali, thanked the party’s supporters for their response towards the exercise.

He advocated for campaigns across the nooks and crannies of Adamawa for the party’s presidential and National Assembly candidates.

The party’s Northeast zonal coordinator, Zakari Hashimu, who brought back door-to-door movement, appreciated members and supporters of APC and promised 10 million votes for President Tinubu to consolidate on the gains recorded.

The APC Senate candidate for Adamawa Central, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, on behalf of other national assembly flag-bearers, described the flag-off as the beginning of a new era in Nigeria and called for support for President Tinubu, the national assembly, and all other parties’ flag-bearers.

He thanked the President for providing a platform to sell the candidates, citing his developmental initiatives and other people-centred policies.
