Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has cautioned the executives and stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) against engaging in anti-party activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The governor gave the warning when he received the state executives of the APC on a Sallah homage at the Government House in Yola.
Fintiri urged them to remain united and committed to strengthening the APC to secure victory in all elective positions at the next general elections.
He stated that the candidates who emerged from the recent party primaries were chosen by God’s will and expressed confidence that they were better positioned than those from other political parties.
The governor assured the party members that his administration would continue to promote unity and political stability across the state.
He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that all APC candidates emerge victorious in the forthcoming elections.
Earlier, the state chairman of the APC, Alhaji Hamza Bello Madagali, congratulated Governor Fintiri on the Eid-el-Kabir celebration and commended him for the role he played during the party’s recent primaries.
Madagali said the governor provided a level playing field that ensured the successful conduct of the primaries across the state.
