Governor Nasir Idris Gwandu of Kebbi State has appointed Yakubu Bala Tafidan Yauri as the new secretary to the state government and Barrister Attahiru Maccido as chief of staff, government house.
Other political appointees of the new administration are personal assistant to the governor, Aminu Musa Danko, Aliyu Bandado Argungu, senior special assistant, New media and Alhaji Yahaya Sarki as special adviser on media and publicity.
The rest are Abuzaidu Abubakar Yari who was appointed senior special assistant on new media, senior special assistant on protocol Umar Shehu Baiti and former Guardian Newspaper’s Ahmed Idris who was appointed as press secretary to the governor.
The news of their appointment was contained in a statement issued yesterday to journalists at the government house in Birnin Kebbi by the new press secretary Idris.
The statement further indicated that all the appointments took effect from 29th May, 2023.
