Gov Idris Warns Road Project Contractor Against Shoddy Job

Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has warned contractor handling newly awarded 2.9 kilometres road in Gwandu under Gwandu local government area to adhere to specifications and ensure the delivery of quality job within the stipulated time frame.

The governor gave the warning when he flagged off the construction of the 2.9 kilometres township road in the headquarters of Gwandu local government area of the state.

He said that the construction of the road was a promise fulfilled to the people of Gwandu and was one of the legacy projects of his administration.

Idris, however, directed the Ministry of Works to intensify the supervision of the project to guarantee compliance and completion of the job.

He described Gwandu as a historic town in Kebbi State and commended its people for their unwavering support and loyalty to his government.
