Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has congratulated the new auditor general of the federation, Mr. Shaakaa Chira, describing his appointment as a huge success story for Taraba State and the country at large.

In a statement signed by his special adviser  on media and digital communications, Emmanuel Bello, the governor said the appointment was a reward for experience, hard work and competence.

He said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu made the best choice in picking Mr. Chira. The governor noted that the state would solidly stand behind the appointee on his assignments.

“The new auditor general is no doubt well equipped for the new job, he is an effective achiever with many years of cognitive experience,” the governor said.
