Taraba State governor, Agbu Kefas, on Friday, offered automatic appointment to two women who confessed they have been living a happy life despite being HIV-carriers for about a decade
Kefas announced the job offer during a two-day working visit of the First Lady/Wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to Jalingo, Taraba State capital.
Mrs Tinubu was in the state to flag off the presentation of 10,000 professional kits to Midwives and Nurses in the North-Eeast zone of Nigeria and campaign for triple elimination of HIV/AIDS, Syphilis and Hepatitis among women of productive age.

“We, therefore, respectfully request that more resources be extended to Taraba as we are prepared, committed and accountable in transforming every intervention into human resources.
“For the two ladies that spoke out, the government of Taraba will be appointing you Special Adviser from this day and attach you to the office of the First Lady of Taraba State, after here you can go to the office and collect your appointment letters,” Governor Kefas stated.
