The roads are the 30 kilometers Arochukwu – Ndiokereke – Ozuabam, and the 11.5 kilometers Nunya -Eluama -Isuikwuato roads in Arochukwu and Isuikwuato Local Government areas.

Abia State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Okey Kanu, stated this at a press briefing on this week’s Executive Council Meeting chaired by Governor Otti in Umuahia, the state capital.

Joined by his counterpart of the Ministry of Education, Uche Eme-Uche as well as the Media and Publicity Adviser to the governor, Ferdinand Ekeoma, Kanu said the projects are part of the Governor’s strategic road infrastructure development initiative.

“Of course, roads are serious enablers for a good business environment and the government will not relent in ensuring that roads in the state are put in very good motorable condition,” he noted.

Beside road projects, Kanu said the administration has recorded milestones in education, health, infrastructure development, sanitation, commerce, trade and industry among others in line with its campaign promises.
