Gov Radda Gives N278m To 4,634 Katsina Pilgrims

Katsina State governor Mallam Dikko Umar Radda, has donated the sum of N278 million to 4,634 state pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.

The money is part of their feeding allowance and other upkeeps while in the Holy Land.

The Amirul Hajj of the state and immediate past speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Tasiu Musa Maigari, disclosed this to the state pilgrims in Makkah in a statement signed by the chief press secretary to Governor Radda, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed and made available to journalists in the state.

He also conveyed the governor’s Sallah felicitations to the pilgrims on their successful completion of this year’s Hajj exercise.

The statement added that the governor supported each of the pilgrims with N60,000 which is equivalent to 300 Saudi riyals, while urging them to pray for the end of insecurity in the state.
