Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has led a high-powered delegation from the state to the 2026 edition of the Financing Investment and Trade in Africa (FITA) Conference,  in a bold push to position Gombe as a competitive destination for global investment.

The high-level event, organized by the Tunisian African Business Council (TABC), is currently underway at the Radisson Blu Hotel and Conference Centre in Tunis, bringing together policymakers, investors and industry leaders from across the continent and beyond.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya, who is attending as Special Guest, is accompanied by a diverse delegation that includes top government officials, members of the State House of Assembly, business leaders, and traditional rulers led by the Emir of Gombe, Dr. Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, CFR.

The FITA Conference is one of Africa’s premier platforms for fostering strategic partnerships, promoting cross-border investments and accelerating sustainable economic growth.

Beyond participating in the conference sessions, Governor Inuwa Yahaya has embarked on a series of strategic bilateral engagements with leading Tunisian companies and development partners, aimed at unlocking investment opportunities critical to the state’s long-term growth agenda.
