Governor Dauda Lawal Appoints MD Gusau Int Airport

Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal has approved the appointment of Kabir Yahaya Gusau as the new Managing Director (MD) of Gusau International Airport.

Secretary to the Zamfara State government,  Abubakar Muhammad Nakwada disclosed the governor’s approval in a statement he issued to Journalists in Gusau.

According to the statement, the appointment is part of the Lawal administration’s ongoing efforts to ensure effective coordination and operational readiness of the Airport project, which will soon commence operations.

It is, however, noted that the Airport is expected to significantly enhance international connectivity and investment opportunities, and to boost the economic development of Zamfara State and the country.

The appointed LEADERSHIP gathered is a seasoned aviation professional who will move the new Airport to greater heights.
