Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Monday inaugurated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Convention Protocol Sub-Committee, charging its members to deliver effectively on their mandate toward ensuring a successful national convention scheduled for November 2025.
Governor Fintiri, who also serves as Chairman of the PDP National Convention Committee, reaffirmed his loyalty to the party, describing it as one with enduring legacies and a promising future.
While inaugurating the Protocol Sub-Committee, chaired by the Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Muftwang, Governor Fintiri commended members for accepting the task and urged them to demonstrate professionalism, unity, and commitment in the discharge of their responsibilities.
He further disclosed his intention to arrive in Ibadan weeks ahead of the convention to personally oversee preparations and ensure a hitch-free event.
Governor Fintiri also assured all aspirants contesting various elective positions of a transparent and credible process, reaffirming his commitment to upholding the democratic values for which the PDP is known.
